Week One Discussion

Week 1 -Discussion Assignment

This week you will be assigned to a collaborative group, which means a group of your peers.  Each of you will begin to think of ideas that you could possibly transform into a narrative story. 

This week you will start by participating in a weekly discussion on the blog.  A blog is a technology tool that allows you to post your thoughts on different topics and make reflective and beneficial comments to other students that have posted their thoughts.  For this first assignment you will respond to the following:

Share an experience or a memorable moment that occurred during one of your summer vacations or during summer break. 

1.       Make sure that you post your memorable experience to the blog by day two which will be on a Tuesday. 

2.       Your memorable experience should not be more than 100 words. 

3.        Review the rubric on the wiki at http://latonyasimmonsonline.wikispaces.com/Rubric%28s%29-+Narrative+Writing

4.       After posting your experience read over some of your peers’ memorable experiences.

5.       Make comments to at least two of your peers by day six which will be on a Saturday.
